Mr. Barnett is making sure the firm is following in the steps of his grandfather, Lawrence Barnett, who practiced law in the city of Pittsburgh for over 50 years.

Mr. Barnett has focused his law practice on the areas of law that affect everyday people as well as small to medium size business. Mr. Barnett has worked with  numerous clients in matters related to business planning, collections, document reviews.  The firm also works in the areas of estate planning as well as elderlaw.

At our office we put the client first and we pay attention to details and work with our clients to achieve their specific objectives in the most efficient manner possible. We provide all clients with a no cost initial consultation and each new client is given a specific engagement letter before any legal work is started. The engagement letter will provide the estimated costs or hourly rate for the type of engagement being requested.

Elderlaw- Our firm has experience in all aspects of Elderlaw and Medicaid planning. We can provide different legal options to our clients around how  careful Medicaid planning can help our clients retain certain assets.  The area of Elderlaw is continuing to change on a constant basis because of the high costs and different legislation that both the federal and state governments have passed.

Estate Planning- Our firm can help provide all types of necessary estate planning documents including but not limited to Last Will and Testament, Living Wills, Durable Power of Attorney and Medical Power of Attorney. We can also draft different types of Living Trusts both Revocable and Irrevocable.

Business and Commericial Law- Our office has extensive experience at contract law and can help you draft all of the necessary documents to manage your small business. We can assist in the review of all documents on any new business acquistions you may be doing and help you mitigate your risk.

We also can perform debt collection services and help you maintain your accounts receivable. Our office can handle this work on both a flat fee or contingency fee basis.

Family Law- Our firm can handle most simple divorces and we can provide reasonable representation for either spouse and complete most divorce proceedings on a flat fee basis.
